Why Therapy?
Therapy can be offered to individuals in life; each one can be affected in multiple ways that differ from every other person. A trusted therapist in a safe environment can offer resources and information to empower those individuals as they move forward.

Trauma
ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences) are traumatic experiences that occur in childhood. Examples include mental illness, community violence, physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, divorce, domestic violence, incarceration, substance abuse, physical and emotional neglect.

Personal Growth
Life can be hard and lonely to navigate. Is it difficult to cope with life demands? Do you struggle trying to figure out the next step? Having a therapist who will listen, be supportive, and encourage you can make a huge difference in accomplishing your goals and working towards your fullest potential.

Mental Health
Mental health refers to a person's emotional, psychological, and cognitive well-being. A mental health illness affects 1 in 5 U.S. children and more than 1 in 5 U.S. adults. A mental health illness is an illness that impacts one's overall functioning in daily life and has a negative impact on one's thoughts, feelings, and behavior. Mental health illnesses are diagnosed using the DSM-V by a trained professional and can provide guidance on treatment options and goals.
